This is a wide-angle lens that enables rendering of a natural visual sensation, and it can be used for handheld snapshot photography. This lens features clear, high-contrast delineation performance with a minimum of distortion up to the image edges. A large flower-shaped hood enables a higher sense of transparency even under backlit or other adverse conditions. Combined with the F2.8 brightness, this lens provides a natural out-of-focus (bokeh) effect with a wide angle. AF/MF switching can be performed quickly by simply sliding the entire focus ring forward or backward, and manual focusing can easily be used immediately after focusing by AF for making fine adjustments.
