This conversion lens is attached between the A1.4X-S lens and camera body for expanding the focal length by 1.4X. The open F value becomes one step darker, but this lens enables usage as two lenses. The minimum shooting distance remains the same as the original minimum shooting distance of the main lens, and enables near distance photography for large closeups of subjects for certain main lenses. The lens is focused using the manual focus.
