A new generation of compact, DSLR cameras and camcorders now have

the ability of capturing high definition video clips almost as well as they 

capture high resolution stills. BUT… recording good quality sound is still a

challenge.

 

Hähnel have conquered this with the newly launched Mk200 which uses 

dual shock mounts to absorb any unwanted mechanical vibrations and 

handling noise.

 

The peak signal indicator shows the user when the sound is too loud and 

is easily adjusted by selecting a lower dB level using the -10dB / 0 dB / +10dB switch. For outdoor sound recordings - hähnel have also included a deadcat windshield.
